Previous Image Title: Pulling Boats
Notes: Weir fishing in the northeast is still commonplace, albeit very hard work. Beached for the winter these "pulling boats" are utilized by crewmen, after the larger "mother" boat tows them out to the weirs, to haul in the fish-filled nets which are affixed to long poles planted in the ocean bottom.
